Will to Murder

This is the history on the Glensheen Mansion in Duluth, MN and the murders that took place in the mansion in 1977.
When I started this book, I did not want to put it down.
It is hard to believe that money is so important to some people that they would go to any measure to get it. Even though Marjorie had money or should we say should have had money, she blew it. Wasting it away and wanting more all the time. She threw more money away that most of us will ever be able to dream about. The excess in which she bought outfits for kids for skating or horseback riding, just so no other people in the area could possibly have the same outfit - is crazy. Wow.
It was a shame that the police made as many mistakes as they did, but it was not something that they dealt with all the time. You almost have to feel something for them because of everything that they dealt with. All the craziness was more that what they were used to and they did the best they knew how. I remember when this took place I was barely a teenager. I wish now that I would have paid more attention to what happened back then.
Oh well, I would suggest to everyone interested in true stories.

I have this one on my bookshelf and have passed over it a couple of times because the writing on each page is small and close together. It makes it look like it would take forever to read. But now I'm interested. It is a part of Minnesota's history I know little about. Maybe it's time to dust it off and pull it out!
